  1. Hello! Regarding wearing only skirts and dresses… what about when gardening?! I really enjoy working in my yard, which sometimes entails being on my hands and knees, digging, pulling weeds, Bending over, etc. I wear baggy shorts that cover my knees, but it seems wearing a skirt for many activities wouldn’t be practical or modest! Please give any insight about this! Thank you and God bless you!

    1. I think it’s okay to wear baggy, long shorts while gardening, as it’s usually in the back and out of sight. I do very little gardening, but even when I do, I wear comfortable skirts or casual dresses with long shorts underneath. One can also wear pants with a skirt on top of it for modesty.

    2. I garden (and mow!) in linen a-line skirts that hit just below the knee. Mine have a comfortable elastic waist, deep pockets, are breezy, and are long enough to avoid any awkward peep shows. The mid-calf length really works for me—long enough to be modest but short enough not to be burdensome. Most days I don’t even notice that I’m not wearing pants.

  2. I started only wearing skirts and dresses recently. I think that I matured and grew out of hypersexualizing myself as a teenager which included wearing pants. I do it for modesty and to also show that I am not just my body. When we dress immodestly, our sexual identity is heightened and we put too much importance or priority to it. Our sexual identity is good and part of who we are but it shouldn’t not be the main focus of who we are which is exactly what happens when we dress immodestly.

    1. True as we grow old I prefer different things from short shorts and sleeveless to shorts on knee length and a soft shirt especially when cleaning the church I prefer modest clothes also when attending preaches during sundays

  3. I understand women can’t wear all the time but it’s so nice to see a.lady wearing.a dress or a skirt

  4. I try to wear skirts and dresses as much as possible nowadays, I am a Traditional Catholic, and am a big advocate of true femininity. I see how guys react to women dressed in skirts, and it kills me every time to see the new level of respect a guy has! They want to give you a hand if they see you working because it triggers an instinct in their mind of, Oh, that’s a lady!
And it’s super cool. Pants aren’t wrong, unfortunately i’m kinda stuck wearing them for work, but if I go out in public, its ALWAYS in a skirt or dress!

  5. No one has ever complimented me on my sweat pants!! Skirts and dresses have many affects on others, who see me. They are more friendly, Men often thank me for not wearing pants. Women are so complimentary.

And comfort….A wool skirt and boots is much warmer than pants and so comfortable. In the summer time, a chiffon fit and flare dress is about as cool and comfortable as it gets.
